This is a fun set of candles for those fans of 'Nightmare Before Christmas.' They are about what you would expect from small, round candles. They burn fine, but because of their round shape, they really do need to be in an appropriate candle holder so they don't roll away while burning if they are bumped. Of course, if they are in a candle holder (something with sides, again, so they don't roll) they lose some of their visual appeal. As such, these make for better decoration if left unburnt. One note relating to storage of holiday decorations: If you are like me, things like this get put away every season. I stored candles like these in the attic along with the rest of my Christmas decorations and they melted during a hot summer. Something to think about when putting these away for the year...So, these are good and fun candles that are appropriate for the season for us 'Nightmare...' fans out there.Not related to the product, Amazon lists categories for this product as if this is a toy, which of course it is not.

I got this as a gift for my sister-in-law who is a huge fan of the Nightmare Before Christmas movie. These candles were very cute and were shipped fast (especially in light of the holiday season). She loved them! My only negative was that the box looked beat up and used but the product was unharmed and in pristine condition. I would have returned since it was a gift but it was so close to Christmas that I kept it. I was a little embarassed about the condition of the packaging but once she saw the candles she didn't care what the box looked like. Overall, very cute and anyone who loves the movie will love this candle set!

They are pretty small, but very cute. They look good in a display box. Really, they are smaller then I expected them to be, but detailed. I do not regret the buy, but wish they were larger.
